Happiness is a choice. To be happy, you must be in control of your thoughts. Choosing the right way to think reduces stress, depression, and anxiety.
Happiness is being emotionally balanced. We achieve this by learning how to nurture a good relationship with the Self, cultivating a positive belief system, and developing the instinct to let go of what no longer serves us. We must learn to let go of anger, grief, bitterness, and hatred. Nursing all these in our minds and hearts is harmful. It is impossible to live with peace and happiness if we live with negative emotions.
